Are Catchmaster traps meant to catch snakes?

Catchmaster traps are not designed or manufactured with the intent to trap/catch snakes. 

If it is your intent to catch snakes, please be aware that The Endangered Species Act 1973 protects threatened and endangered snakes. Killing these snake species is illegal. Most states regulate snake hunting and designate them as non-game animals, or impose strict bag limits. Snake killing laws vary by U.S. state. Be sure to know the laws in your state before attempting to trap, or kill any reptile or other non-target species. Contact your regional wildlife rehabilitation specialist before attempting to move or handle any non-target species.

Should a snake become caught in one of our glue traps, it's recommended to contact a local animal control professional to ascertain the species and whether it is venomous and to let them handle the matter. Our glue can be dissolved by applying baby oil, vegetable oil, mineral oil, or mineral spirits.
