Optimal Temperature Range for Catchmaster Glue Traps

Carl -

Ideal Temperature Range

Catchmaster glue traps work best within the following temperature range:
50°F to 95°F (10°C to 35°C). Extreme temperature fluctuations are not recommended.

Effects of Temperature on Trap Performance

  • Below 50°F (10°C):
    • The adhesive may harden, leading to reduced stickiness.
  • Above 95°F (35°C):
    • The adhesive can soften or melt, diminishing its effectiveness.
    • Direct exposure to sunlight or heat sources should be avoided.
